This is a vintage Cambridge Forest Green Gadroon relish dish with a Farber Bros. Krome Kraft silver-plated base.
The glass dish was made by Cambridge Glass Company in their Gadroon pattern (Line 3500), and the base is a Krome Kraft silver-plated piece by Farber Bros. The Gadroon pattern was produced by Cambridge Glass from 1933-1958, and this specific 4-part relish dish with the Farber Bros. base was produced from 1940-43.
It features a scalloped edge on the glass dish and a detailed pattern on the silver-plated base, which is typical of Farber Bros. Krome Kraft items. There are four divisions. It's designed as a divided serving dish, perfect for snacks, nuts, candy, or condiments.
This dish is in excellent condition. There are no chips. The beautiful green glass is clear. The silver-plated base shows very minimal wear. There are a few very minor scuffs, but nothing egregious.
It measures 7 1/4” in diameter and 3” tall.
