A. H. Heisey & Co. was a renowned American glass company operating from 1896 to 1957 in Newark, Ohio. After its closure, the Imperial Glass Company acquired many of Heisey's molds, including those for popular animal figurines like the "Oscar" horse, and continued production under the "Heisey by Imperial" mark.
