This is a vintage Berggren Swedish enamelware tea kettle, characterized by its distinctive Scandinavian folk art motifs, often featuring rosemaling designs and phrases- "A watched kettle never boils..."
This piece has rust, water corrosion, enamel wear, all of the the things that give it that unique, vintage character! Please see photos for details.
