I honestly don’t think this was used, just displayed. This is a black wooden hanging rack with four different spice containers, salt, pepper, allspice and ginger. All ceramic containers have the original bottom corks and all marked Japan. There are signs of crazing due to age, about 75 years old and one tiny chip on the bottom of one spice container. All have little knobs to pull each out, all without damage and color is pretty bright with limited signs of fade.
