Antique Souvenir Stained Pine Wood Trinket Box with Glazed Photograph of Mt. Snow Ski Area in 1965. 5 5/8” long, 3 5/8” wide, and 2 1/4” high. Brass hinged. Great condition. Inside looks unused and smells of pinewood. Outside glaze of the Ski Area photo has some age crazing, expected in a 57 year old glaze protected photograph. This is great memorabilia for a Mt. Snow enthusiast. Impossible to find anywhere. Unique antique. Has a style number 1625 17 and a price tag of $1.50 (back in 1965) and a store tag of “Sport Trends.” Excellent shape. Pine wood is varnished except for the inside and bottom. Black letting on side says, “Mt. Snow Vermont.” Aerial photo of 1965 Wintertime Ski Trails is interesting to compare to today’s very much bigger Mt. Snow. Collectible Skiing souvenir. Early historic skiing remembrance of Eastern USA skiing. Looks Hand Made. Probably made in Vermont.
