This item was stored in a paulownia chest at my parents' house. It's a lightly glossy fabric. I think it's silk, but I'm not sure as I'm not an expert.
It looks like it was worn, as there are some areas where the threads are pulled, and some discoloration from rubbing, as shown in the photos.
There's also the smell of old kimono.
I would be happy if you could use it as a material for remaking.
I will fold it up small for shipping.
